Jennie’s Story
I was lucky enough to have Greg as my Physical therapist after my right total hip replacement. I was not a typical patient. What led to my hip replacements at the age of 31 were over 30 hip surgeries including several long osteotomies, that required me to spend a lot of my younger years in a wheelchair and I struggled to ambulate 25ft. I met a great orthopedic surgeon and had both hips replaced within a year. In between the two surgeries, I met Greg, and he was unlike so many of the other medical practitioners. Greg was professional, extremely empathetic, gentle, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. His knowledge is outstanding, his patient education and communication is something I’ve never experienced in any practitioner. My second surgery and recovery were so much easier because Greg had treated me BEFORE my surgery. The healing process was less painful by at least 40%. Greg doesn’t just treat the condition, he treats his patients’ activities too. Despite the cards I was dealt with, returning to athletics was very important to me. He’s welcomed me back for “tune-ups” and those really helped me. Although he has moved, if I need anything or have questions, he’s still an email away. I have not found a physical therapist like Greg.

Accountability with Empathy
If it weren’t for Greg holding me accountable while remaining empathetic and giving the absolute best patient education, I would not be as successful in the fitness industry as I am, or a well-respected softball coach today. Thank you for everything Dr. Gregory Vescera!
