Sandy’s Story
Over several years, I have received the benefits of physical therapy from Jimmy Armentrout. I was born with congenital spine issues, mild scoliosis and muscle weakness, from mild CP at birth. Keeping up with a busy life of family, art creating and instruction would occasionally get me into trouble with pain and muscle tightness. At that point, maintenance from physical therapy became the best way to get me back into pain-free living again. I always requested Jimmy for his knowledge, experience, intuitive hands, and listening ear to find the problem and work toward resolution. Beyond the physical therapy process, I knew he cared for my well-being and tuned in to my situation. Slow and gentle treatments worked best. During my husband’s difficulty with balance, due to frontal temporal degeneration, he worked with him with gentle kindness. After my husband’s death, the physical toll of caregiving for many years needed physical therapy attention. He expressed kindness and empathy as we worked to get the tight muscles moving again, shoulders and hips in alignment, even through some tears. He brings encouragement and positivity to all his patients.
